Payment Policy

- Each session must be paid beforehand, otherwise no service will be provided.

- When Clients will be seen will vary and be according to need and urgency

- 24-hour notice must be given if the client will not be attending the following day’s session otherwise full fee must still be paid. If a session is not canceled or rescheduled before 24 hours, a cancellation fee of R450 will be charged.

- Standerd fees are R490 per session ( NOT covered by medical aids)
Building trust (privacy) – ACA code of ethics
- Building trust between you and me as your counsellor, more formally known as confidentiality, is very important and separates our relationship from other people where information is shared.
- Everything that is discussed in my office will be held private, except in the following cases where your or others’ well-being/safety is at risk:
- I must warn if I see any signs of danger to yourself or others, e.g., making plans to harm yourself or anyone else.
- I may reveal information to your doctor, other psychologist or any other health professional involved in the case.
- If you are younger than 18 years, some information may be discussed with your parents/guardians.
- If the court is involved in the case and they need some detail of your case I may do so.
Am I legally allowed to counsel clients?
- Yes I am designated on the board of the ASCHP (Association for Supportive Counsellors and Holistic Practitioners) Membership Registration no 8685, which allows me to help and guide clients within legal rights.
